Description

A water colour by Claude Buckle. Chez Robinson is a restaurant scene in France showing people sitting at tables and a waiter serving a single lady in the foreground. Literally translated from the french it means “by Robinson’s”. 1963

This name has come form the book “In Pursuit of the vine” which was published in 1953. We meet the famous restaurant ‘Chez Robinson’ at La Chapelle-sur-Loire.
