The Angler

Description

This print depicts a river scene in which an angler is shown casting his line from a fishing boat. Claude Buckle manages to capture the true flowing of the river in his classic water colour picture. Created in 1967. The foreground shows the swirling and flowing of the river beautifully captured in watercolour a medium which the artist particularly favoured. This picture was reproduced in the 60’s by the Medici print company. The picture appeared in the film Toast detailed the life of Nigel Slater Celebrity Cook.
